Bruce A. Bookbinder
With over 50 years in the plumbing and mechanical contracting industries, Bruce has successfully owned and managed Delta Mechanical Contractors, LLC to be one of the premier contracting operations in New England.
After graduating from the University of Miami, Bruce joined his family’s plumbing and heating business. Through the years, Bruce developed relationships with the prominent general contractors in the area. In 1991, Bruce formed Delta Mechanical, Inc. Today, he continues to maintain and expand his business base, and is constantly forming new alliances.
Bruce, as President and CEO of Delta Mechanical Contractors, LLC, continues to be involved in every aspect of the business. From sales and estimating to purchasing and management of the projects, Bruce actively ensures the satisfaction of his customers.

Our Delta family includes many more essential employees. From our Project Managers to our Commissioning Department to our Administrative team, our company has retained many long-term employees that provide quality and excellence to the industry. With strong work ethics and loyalty, the individuals at Delta unite to provide successful projects to our customers and project owners.

Delta Mechanical’s labor force is comprised primarily of union plumbers, pipefitters and sprinklerfitters. Being able to draw the most experienced of workers from a union hall ensures available skilled craftsmen at all times. These tradesmen and apprentices take pride in their work and in our projects. Many of these men and women have been with Delta since the Company was founded in 1991.

“SAFETY BEGINS WITH ME”
Safety on every project site is vital to everyone involved. Our safety motto, “Safety Begins With Me,” reinforces the importance of employee awareness and accountability when it comes to safe work practices. Through ongoing education, hands-on training, and a comprehensive Safety Program, Delta actively engages its workforce in creating and maintaining safe job sites every day.
Under the leadership of our Director of Safety, Delta continues to strengthen and improve its safety culture. Our Director of Safety is a qualified OSHA 500 Trainer and MEWP Trainer with extensive experience in construction safety and regulatory compliance. His leadership and expertise have helped the company achieve important safety goals while continuously advancing our safe work practices.
To ensure job-site safety, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) are performed on every project. In addition, our Director of Safety has established clear directives and mandatory procedures that are communicated to employees beginning on their first day of employment.
Weekly “Toolbox Talks,” led by our Foremen and monitored by the Director of Safety, address a wide range of relevant construction safety topics and reinforce safe working habits throughout the organization.
Delta’s strong safety culture is clearly visible through our proactive safety efforts and our employees’ commitment to safety.
